Kristie's creatinine was 1.8!!! She had her monthly check up last Tuesday and we just got the labs back a couple of days ago.
Normal creatinine level is 1 or below and for a kidney transplant patient, 1.8 is really really good! In fact, she's never had this low of creatinine since she developed kidney disease in 2007.
SWEET! Thank you God!
More good news, I've lost 6.5 pounds thanks to Alli! Katie gave her half full bottle of Alli she had left and since she can't use it now since she's pregnant, I started taking it about 2 weeks ago. Since that time, I've lost about 5 pounds.
Alli is a fat blocker but you don't really notice a difference except I pee alot more. The literature claims that you'll lose 50% more weight while on a weight reduction program - I'm doing Weight Watchers - and its working!
I was struggling on WW before, even though I was NOT cheating, the weight just was not coming off - a half pound here, a half pound there, nothing of much consequence; then I'd go up a pound out of nowhere...very frustrating.
So, thank you Alli!
We're headed to Sacramento (with Nigel this time) on Saturday to take care of Calla while Katie and Nich spend 5 days in Kaui. Its their 10 year anniversary trip...Yay!
Can't wait to get warm again. Here's the rule in Seattle...don't expect it get to above 75 in a consistent manner until after July 4th...just doesn't happen. Am counting the days until July 5th.
Life is Good!
